I’ve always looked at alternatives to Streamyx for my internet connection. Not that I despise TMNET but just because of the fact that their service way below par! I’m sure many Malaysian broadband users would attest to this. I had the opportunity to try out Maxis, Digi and P1WIMAX and I think I can share some of my experiences here.

If you’re like me who relies on the internet to get work done, you probably would have lost half your hair with the broadband speed and unreliable connections in Malaysia. I have tried Streamyx as well as PenangFON and both have miserably failed to provide me with any kind of sustainable stable, fast internet connection that I need. Don’t even get me started on that piece of junk called mobile broadband offered by our telco operators!
