Not a bad idea if you intend to get a hang of it and want to start with zero investment. But if you want to be seen as a serious blogger, you will need to get a custom domain for yourself. For that purpose, wordpress is highly recommended. But unfortunately you will not be able to host your customer domain for free and you will need to look for a webhost. So basically there are 2 costs here: cost of the domain registration and the cost of web hosting. What is the best plan for this?
