Happy MERDEKA to all my readers! As we are celebrating our 52nd year of independence from the British, it is also probably a good time to evaluate how much the country has achieved and what we are missing on. I’m sure we can do better in a lot of things but being a tech blogger I thought it would really make sense for me to list down 10 things on my tech wish list for Malaysia. They are not arranged in any particular order. Here we go…

We live in a country which is pretty much the epicenter of technology companies in this region. We have our own silicon valley (a.k.a Penang), our own IT hub (a.k.a Cyberjaya), broadband connections, 3.5G networks, WiMax, RFID toll systems and jailbroken iPhones. Definitely a sign that this is a country which has bright future with some great minds around.
