Why I love my maxis iPhone 3G S

I finally got my iPhone 3G S from maxis on the 31st of July. Luckily I booked my unit at the maxis center in Queensbay Mall in Penang and even though they only opened at 10.30 AM, there was no crowd. I made my way to the maxis center expecting my unit to be ready only to be told that the number porting for my digi number wasn’t done yet. So I couldn’t get my unit on the same day. But I was so eager to get the unit that I decided to accept their inefficiency and sign up for an all new maxis number which would mean that I could get the unit on the same day! That worked well and in fact I got the unit within an hour.
I fell in love with my maxis iPhone 3G S the moment I held it. Even though I have had both the iPhone 2G and the iPhone 3G before this, it still felt like being excited to hold an all new iPhone in my hand! I could feel the processing power as soon as I opened up webpages and it definitely was faster than my previous iPhone 3G. The websites loaded faster and same was for YouTube as well. I played around with the new compass feature and that was a pretty nice addition to the phone as well. I’m not sure when this is going to come in handy for me, but still no complaints.
Here are the features on the iPhone 3G S that I love:
1. Web pages definitely load much faster than before
2. Some applications seem to be running faster too – especially games with a lot of graphics
3. Video recording is decent. Perfect for my blogging too!
4. The new camera is pretty decent as well
5. Compass is a nice addition but I doubt I will use it – I’m not an outdoor person
So are these features good enough for an upgrade? Well in my opinion if you have an iPhone 3G which is less than 6 months old, you might not want to change to the iPhone 3G S just yet. Most new additions on the iPhone 3G S are good to have but not really essential. It is not a major upgrade from the iPhone 3G but rather more of a subtle change. Would you get one?

What do u think about the ivalue4 package? Worth it?
@Raphael
In my case I prefer the iValue2 package. It keeps my monthly costs low and still offers enough data volume for my needs. 500MB per month is more than enough for me which 3GB per month might be an overkill. I guess at the end of the day it all boils down to what your monthly bill typically looks like and choose your plan accordingly. Have fun!
In my case, i love any kind of iphones. I also think that maxis iPhone 3G S is great.
