Typically most bloggers who start out blogging tend to use free blogging platforms such as blogger. Not a bad idea if you intend to get a hang of it and want to start with zero investment. But if you want to be seen as a serious blogger, you will need to get a custom domain for yourself. For that purpose, wordpress is highly recommended. But unfortunately you will not be able to host your customer domain for free and you will need to look for a webhost. So basically there are 2 costs here: cost of the domain registration and the cost of web hosting. What is the best plan for this?
Today I came across Hyperwebenable. Interestingly, they are offering a free website and with free webhosting as well.
Here’s what they have to offer:
1. Free website of your choice (yoursitename.com).
2. 1GB of webspace to host your website.
3. Unlimited bandwidth.
4. Unlimited emails (info@yoursitename.com,contact@yoursitename.com).
5. Scripts of your choice(Blog,CMS,Forum ..).
6. Technical support by email for your website.
7. Tips & tricks to improve your page rank and traffic.
8. Free renewal of your domain.
9. No hidden fee or payments.
10. Ads on your Blog.
Pretty interesting if you ask me. Of course Hyperwebenable will serve their own ads on your blog which is their way of making money out of this and offer this service for “free”. You will need to register your details on their website and then you will be notified if you have been accepted. Once you are accepted, you will be able to get your own website with hosting as well. Since its for free I don’t see any issue in trying out this service. If you have tried out Hyperwebenable and would like to share your experience, I would love to hear you out in the comments section.

Heard that hostgator will be good for wordpress blogs. Are you using hostgator or Hyperwebenable?
Newbie Blogger:
I’m using hostgator. Its quite reliable and the support is good. I didn’t know about hyperenable until recently. I think I will stick to hostgator for now.

Hi Kevin,
Sorry to hear that. I did hear that hyperwebenable do not accept all registrations. I believe they must have a set of terms and conditions which might not be revealed to us.
